어느새 세번째 스킨입니다.우리군은 베트남전 참전을 대가로 미국에게 얻어낸 한국군 현대화 사업의 일환(브라운각서)으로 1966년 M48A1 전차를 첫 도입한 이후 연이어 도입하던 68년, 첫 기갑여단이자 쌍둥이 기갑여단인 제1기갑여단과 제2기갑여단을 동시창설하게 되었습니다.1기갑과 2기갑은 도입된 M48A1 전차를 운용하게 되며 우리군 기동전의 중추로써 자리잡게 됩니다.M48A1은 이후 1978년부터 1982년까지 진행된 전차 개량사업을 통해 M48A3K 전차와 M48A5K 전차로 개량될 때 까지 꿋꿋이 현역의 자리를 지켰습니다.

The 1st and 2nd Armored Brigade operated the introduced M48A1 tank and became the backbone of our military mobilization.Since then, the M48A1 has remained in active service until it was upgraded to the M48A3K and M48A5K tanks through the improvement project that was conducted from 1978 to 1982.
