The only thing I have to worry about about this translation is that the translation team has a list of some of the items and some of the items on the shelf and information leak due to the way the script works.




In this Open chat Kakaotalk screenshot, a user called ‘KimThought’ revealed that he is in the translation team and he had been participating in this KakaoTalk Open chatting room.


Korean users and I believe that we have the right to be provided with high-quality translation from the WarFrame as users who enjoy playing your game. And I also think that we as gamers are entitled to criticize about this kind of attitude from the translation team.


Many Warframe users pointed out the mistranslations and listed them on community sites and asked to fix those mistranslations, but looking at the attitude of ‘KimThought’ makes users think about whether the translation team is qualified as translators.




In addition, people associated with the translation team can know patch contents beforehand, and regarding this matter, translators are implying that they could make money by buying particular game items before patch note updates. 


As game users, we have the right to enjoy games in a just, honest way. However, we cannot simply trust the translation team’s “conscience” not to do any unethical acts. Also, people related to the translation team are claiming that their team is collecting "Akvasto” riven mod that counter the already existing "Akvasto Prime" weapon, which will be added later. It is also an explicit evidence that some members of the translation team are reading the script prior to the updates and buying riven that will be added in the future, which can counteract prime weapon.


As gamers, we request that we have the right to play the game and the right to know exactly what the game is trying to convey and the meaning of the game contents by accurate, correct translation. Digital Extreams and hereinafter everyone at DE, I would like to make a sincere request. It is clear that the translation disrupts the message the game is trying to say, and the meaning is unclear or misinterpreted. Wouldn’t it be wrong to be in a position of translation team if they have no will at all and are working without any consciousness about their work position? 


We want to put Korea Warframe back to its right track. I believe that dismissing current translation employees and rehiring passionate workers will be the first step you should take. Please don’t neglect this problem concerning translation team members. 


Their arrogance should not be overlooked.
