I’ve been humbled many times in my life, I’ve stood in awe over some amazing sites and historical places but this trip was a bit different for me. We traveled to the UK for the first time and got to see the cathedral in Hereford, the birthplace of the SAS and the Unit that started it all. They are without a doubt the founders of CT “ Counter- terrorism”and example we all molded ourselves after. Meeting some of the operators was the highlight of my trip and I have a deep connection with them all, their pride, professionalism and patriotism are infectious and it’s absolutely consuming to be around. Walking through the Cathedral in Hereford sent chills up my spine that I still can’t get over or really quantify how special that was to see in person. I was a little kid growing up across the pond, reading books about these amazing men and their founder David Stirling. I never thought I’d get to see this and I’m so grateful for the opportunity and so thankful these men exist. Thank you for everything you all do and the sacrifices you’ve made.
