Naval OBT is in full swing and we have already received enough data for the first major changes. Currently, at the 2nd rank of the fleet research tree there is some discrepancy in the speed of research for different nations. Because of this players that are playing Soviet ships reach the first destroyers later than the commanders of the German fleet.

 

In this case we plan plan to to make changes to the research trees of the fleets of the USSR and Germany during next week in order to equalize the speed of the players' progress and ensure equal conditions on the speed of research to destroyers.

 

The changes will only affect the German and Soviet rank 2 naval research trees. We will continue to closely monitor the statistics that we get thanks to you the commanders. Changes will be published in a separate changelog.

 

German Naval research tree changes:

 

  • S-100 (1944) -  has been moved to the right from S-100 (1945), it now unlocks research of the SF40,  the VS-10 has taken its place in the tree.
  • The SF40 is no longer required to unlock the AF D1.

 

Thus in order to unlock rank 2 for Germany, a player has to research  both the S-100 (1945) and the VS-10.

USSR Naval research tree changes:

 

  • Pr. 1124 (1945) has now been moved below the Pr. 1124 (1940), it unlocks research for rank 3 vessels.
  • Frunze, 1940 ("Schastlivy" type) exchanges place in the research tree with the Pr. 159.

 

Thus a player will no longer need to research the Pr. 183 to unlock rank 3, however the Pr. 1124 (1945) is required to unlock the Pr. 183.
